The Irishman
Not a movie review.

Note: this post is part of my new series of posting every day for December. Also, I am not a movie reviewer.
We finished watching The Irishman at home, and it's a really long movie, so we split it into two. The movie is about a hitman, who is played by Robert de Niro. Joe Pesci and Al Pacino play the other main roles. Movie is directed by Martin Scorsese, who opened his campaign with describing Marvel movies "as not cinema", which is of course 100% true. MCU movies are formulaic in every sense of the word.
The Irishman is a maffia movie. It's good if you are fascinated by history, or the topic of the Italian mob. For me, it's not a movie in the cinema, I'd not be able to watch it there, and not because of the lenght, but because of the topic. It's just simple didn't hold my attention, and for me the Joker and Parasite are better movies, so you can't say that I don't like The Irishman because it is slow. It just wasn't interesting for me. That's all. Direction is really good though, just as the acting.
Honestly I just don't know how to write about this movie, other than see it if you are really interested in the topic.
