The joy of writing, #100DaysToOffload
Day 1 of #100DaysToOffload

Date: 2020/04/27

I recently discovered this hashtag on the fediverse: #100daystooffload. Write about anything for want, 100 days on your personal blog. About anything you would like to, no topics, no special requirements. Check it out here! I will share my stuff on Mastodon, and you can see what others wrote.

I think I will jump in, and I think it's no better time to start, since our world is slowly going crazy, and in it we are doing our best to stay less crazy. Honestly, I rarely write anything personal here on my blog, but I just might do that some day.

In the past decade I always wrote about something, here and there, nothing big just what I like to do. I am fairly average at writing both in my native language and in English. That's why I started this blog, to practice. Most of the stuff I write is technical though, which doesn't really require that much knowledge of the language I think.

I think this is even better than NaNoWriMo (the novel writing month of November), because you can write about anything. You can write new stuff every day, or you can write something continuous, and you don't have to write a number of words. I might even start my first short story. Who knows? Or I might just share my secret recipe with you.

Here is an interesting stuff what I did a couple of months ago. When I was fed up with the fedi (yes, not everything and everyone is nice on this network either), I decided to take a break, but I still had the thought I'd like to write about. So what I did, is I grabbed a notebook and started writing short notes, similarly when I was sharing stuff on the fedi. And it was fun, I enjoyed writing by hand, but I also missed sharing it with people. Although I am not sure how much people would enjoyed some of my thoughts. :)

Anyway, this is was me on Day 1 of #100DaysToOffload.
