June 25th 2020

I am reading too much politics, and it makes my head hurt. Plus I stayed up late again, and now I am feeling tired at 9 am, not good. I can only think about eating my favorite food at the moment. Maybe I will just eat an apple until then.

1984, a romance novel about two people who discovered love in the midst of an incredible world of survaillence and tyranny. I right now feel like Winston and his diary. Trying to write something for other people.

If you don't like something that the left like and favors, you are labeled as a misogynist, homophobe and a nazi. Simple because you dared to have legit criticism about things. That you made the effort to think for yourself. That's why you don't use social media, and that's how echochambers are created. You simple cannot coexist with this people, because you can't have conversation with them. Just a simple normal dialogue about something so simple as a video game you played last week. Or a movie you saw. Or a book that you read.

And then you just socialize with people who are as the same as you, have the same thoughts as you, and soon you will loose any individuality.

I remember on a different fedi instance, I got crapped on by people because I defended the right of Orson Scott Card's to write Ender's Game. Yes, it's about terrible people. But it's also a warning sign. How can we learn from it, if you want to ban it. If you only write about happy things, positive things, how can we improve?

There is simple no reasoning with them. You can find a common point with extremist.

I faced cancer 3 times in my life, 2 times with my grandmother and mother, and once myself. It's a horrible illness.

And I say this, that the 21st century social justice woke movement, is worse than cancer.

I registered on Parler, a social network for many people. It's mostly political stuff, because many people left twitter, either because they got banned or just simple fed up with twitter. I still don't know why we need to give our phone number, but for now I'll play.

Be honest, you can't really go on fediverse if you are not a leftist with a thick blindfold…

Statues, books, video games…

"One could not learn history from architecture any more than one could learn it from books. Statues, inscriptions, memorial stones, the name of streets - anything that might throw light upon the past had been systematically altered." – 1984, George Orwell

This is day 35 for #100DaysToOffload, where we write about different things on our personal blogs. Join the project or just read the blogs (we have RSS and coookiez!).
